Eireborne show headed to Sydney later this year

Are you a fan of lively music? Energetic stage performances? Ireland?

Then you won't want to miss Eireborne in Sydney later this year.

The show reimagines Irish dancing and music into an unrivalled live experience, and has already been a hit on European shores - and Australian Community Media has 25 double passes to give away.

Originally set to tour earlier this year, Eireborne is now locked in for NSW in September and October.

Promoter Brad Mellen, of Mellen Events, said he was thrilled the lively stage event could finally reach audiences.

"Various border and event restrictions forced our hand previously, however we are delighted to be finally able to tour again now," he said.

"This event is a truly phenomenal assemblage of Irish talent, charm and captivating song and dance."

Eireborne showcases 15 Irish dancers rocking out to a soundtrack of the biggest hits from Irish musical artists.

All your favourites are represented, including U2, Snow Patrol, Van Morrison, Hozier, The Script, The Cranberries, Enya and more.

A live six-piece band and two lead vocalists perform the music in this frenetic and fantastic show.

Co-producer Peta Anderson said she was fuelled by a desire to "feature Irish dancers in a way we haven't been seen before" when creating Eireborne.

"Eireborne allowed me to push the boundaries as the choreographer and revolutionise Irish dance which shows just how versatile and mesmerising Irish dance can be," she said.

Eireborneis a part of the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund - an Australian Government initiative to provide creative and cultural experiences to audiences across Australia.
