RESTRICTIONS TO EASE IN MELBOURNE AND BALLARAT
* From 11:59pm Friday people in lockdown can leave their homes for outdoor social interaction. They can meet another person for a picnic, walk or other outdoor activity
* Up to five fully-vaccinated adults, plus dependents, from two households will be allowed to gather outdoors together
* Outdoor social interaction increased from two to four hours
* Travel limit expanded from five to 10 kilometres
* Two people can train outdoors with a personal trainer
* Communal gym equipment and skate parks to reopen
* Child minding for school-aged children allowed if one parent is an authorised worker
* Property inspections can resume by appointment, only people from the same household can attend, and real estate agents must stay outdoors
* Construction workers must show employers proof they've had their first vaccine dose before 11:59pm September 23, with some exemptions
* Construction workers banned from crossing metro-regional border, tea rooms to close, food and drink banned from being consumed indoors
RESTRICTIONS TO EASE IN REGIONAL VICTORIA FROM 11:59PM FRIDAY
* Gyms and indoor pools (excluding spas, saunas, steam rooms) will reopen with limits
* Hydrotherapy and swimming lessons can resume
* Tour buses can operate for up to 10 people
VACCINATIONS
* 41,758 vaccine doses administered on Wednesday at state-run hubs
* 69.2 per cent of the eligible population has received a first dose
* Of those in hospital, 87 per cent are not vaccinated, 12 per cent partially vaccinated and one person is fully vaccinated
* 360,000 people booked in for a vaccine in next two weeks
* 34,000 first dose Pfizer appointments available
* 18,000 first dose AstraZeneca appointments available
