Macarthur business owner Corinne Blight has just been named Fitness Australia's Female Group Fitness Instructor of the Year and she couldn't be happier.

The Macquarie Links resident, who runs 'retrorobics' classes in Bingara Gorge and online fitness workshops for women, received the award this month in a virtual ceremony with special guest speaker Dylan Alcott.

The 27-year-old said it was a dream come true.

"I really wanted to win this award," Ms Blight said.

"I wrote the goal down on a Post-It note at the start of the year, and it's amazing to think I've won it after a year of manifesting it."

She said she was incredibly proud of the fitness community she'd helped create - Limitless Fitness and Nutrition - over the past two years and was chuffed other professionals in the industry found her work impressive.

"I really does feel like all the hard work behind the scenes has been recognised and appreciated," Ms Blight said.

"It's such a cool feeling to know that all of the fitness professionals that make up Australia chose me as one of the top performers.

"I'm super pumped and so excited by this award."

Ms Blight said she was looking to expand the popular retrorobics classes by the end of this year.

She also works in corporate fitness for "businesses that want to put their employees' health at the forefront".
