The Wests Tigers will have a big boost in their 2023 squad, with the Parramatta Eels' Isaiah Papali'i signing on the dotted line.

The 23-year-old Dally M Secord Rower of the Year has agreed to a three year contract with the Wests Tigers, which will see him don the black, white and orange from 2023 to at least the end of the 2025 season.

He will remain with the Eels for the upcoming 2022 season as per his contract.

The New Zealand and Samoa international representative enjoyed a breakout season in 2021.

Wests Tigers Director of Football Tim Sheens said he was pleased to add a player of Papali'i's calibre to the club.

"Isaiah is an exceptionally talented young forward who has shown himself to be a player with a fantastic attitude, work-ethic and drive," he said.

"We firmly believe that his best football is still ahead of him and we're very excited to see him progress in next steps of his rugby league career with Wests Tigers."
