LATEST COVID-19 DEVELOPMENTS:
* Queensland is facing its biggest COVID-19 threat in a year with authorities extending the state's lockdown until at least 4pm on Sunday after 13 new local cases were reported on Monday.

* Of the total, 6,995,384 have been administered by the Commonwealth (an increase of 27,542 in the previous 24 hours).
* 6,471,147 have been issued in primary care (+26,288) and 524,237 in aged and disability facilities (+1,254).
* 5,398,509 have been administered by the states and territories, including 48,624 in the previous 24 hours.
* 1,660,319 have been administered in Victoria (+13,367), 1,509,706 in NSW (+14,497), 921,750 in Queensland (+3,391), 512,012 in Western Australia (+6,378), 396,440 in South Australia (+3,498), 166,836 in Tasmania (+5,244), 140,539 in the ACT (+2,028) and 90,907 in the NT (+221).
AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Australia reported 222 local cases on Monday August 2: 207 in NSW, two in Victoria and 13 in Queensland.
* There were nine new overseas-acquired cases: two in NSW, two in Queensland, one in WA, three in Northern Territory, one in SA.
* The national death toll is 925: Victoria 820, NSW 71, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7, SA 4, ACT 3. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).
