Love them or hate them, April Fools pranks have once again returned with gags from companies and organisations such as NSW Police, Arnott's and Woolworths.
Perhaps the most elaborate prank came from NSW Police with a video about a new police unit made up of ibis birds, aptly named the "Inter Bin Investigation Squad (IBIS)".
While it was clearly a joke, other pranks were a bit more believable, such as Coles new aisle section dedicated to viral recipes from TikTok and Instagram such as baked feta pasta and pesto eggs.
Competitor Woolworths announced it was controversially replacing its popular chocolate mudcakes with potato-based "spudcakes" in an effort to "create a more health conscious lens".
McDonald's teased a new ice cream sundae topped with sweet and sour dipping sauce as part of a supposed "new savoury sundae creation" range.
Meanwhile, Arnott's and Bega teamed up to launch Vegemite-flavoured TimTams, which, of course, don't exist.
