Anzac Day ceremonies in Sutherland Shire began with the traditional community street march and commemoration ceremony at Engadine on Sunday.
The address was given by Sergeant Jason Smith (Rtd).
On Anzac Day, the dawn service at the war memorial in Engadine Town Square will commence at 5.30am. Members of the public are requested to be in location by 5.15am.
The address will be given by Warrant Officer Brad Copelin (Rtd).
Sutherland Shire Council compiled the following list of Anzac Day dawn services, based on information from organisers.
- Caringbah: 4.10am march to the war memorial, with the service starting at 4.20am.
- Sutherland: 5.15am march from Club on East to the war memorial, with the service starting at 5.30am.
- Cronulla: 5.30am march from the RSL club to Cronulla Park, with the service starting at 5.35am.
- Menai: 5.30am service at Memorial Wall, Parc Menai.
- Engadine: 5.30am service at the war memorial.
- Miranda: 5.30am march to war memorial, with the service starting at 5.40am.
- Bundeena: 6am service at war memorial.
- Woronora: 6am ceremony at war memorial.
